With the time we have left for today, please start the “PVC Terminology” learning set in your Quizlet account. It's time for more flashcard practice! Access your Quizlet account using your personal email address and the password you set up. In your classroom, please do the following:

  • Go through the PVC Terminology flashcards a few times, until you really feel like you know them.

  • Then, try to pass all of the various games for this learning set: Learn, Flashcards, Write, Spell, Test, Match, and Gravity. Your progress will be reported to your manager, so if you are having a hard time and need to go through the flashcards a few more times before continuing the games, that’s okay!

  • Next, start the “Appointment Scheduling Rules” learning set. Begin with just the “Learn” and “Flashcards” games, and repeat until you have a good memory of each type of appointment and the rules that correspond with scheduling them.

  • Once you have mastered these, continue on to the other games. Quick note: some of the appointments have the same rules as others, so you will find that you get some of the answers “wrong” on some of the games when really they are correct—Quizlet gets confused. Just keep trucking along for your learning.

  • Lastly, start learning the “Common Eye and Vision Conditions” learning set. Repeat the same process as before—start with the Learn and Flashcards games, and progress as you feel confident. A lot of time spent in this app today, but knowing these terms, appointment rules, and conditions is VITAL for the next few days of your training! Spend several hours on this task so that you are REALLY solid in your knowledge of these areas.
